The Atlantic was born today, and I'll tell you how The clouds above opened up and let it out I was standing on the surface of a perforated sphere when the water filled every hole And thousands upon thousands made an ocean making islands where no islands should go
Most people were overjoyed; they took to their boats I thought it less like a lake and more like a moat The rhythm of my footsteps crossing flatlands to your door have been silenced forevermore And the distance is quite simply much to far for me to row; it seems farther than ever before
beautiful image, its really peaceful. Is it a self portrait? How do you take the photos, with your other hand or on a twisty tripod thing? And just curious, do you think of the concept first or take the image and match the poem to go with it?
Keep up the beautiful imagery
-- life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away
It depends. As far as taking the picture, I usually hold out my arm to do it. But I have used a tripod.
The concept/lyrics can work both ways too. Sometimes I have an idea I want to try without meaning behind it, and because I'm so into music, I can usually find a favorite song or incorporate another work of art into my images to make it mean a bit more.
I'm kind of all over the map when it comes to inspiration and technique.

It is so soft, clean and perfect.I was about to ask you of "Bare hand"??? The tripod explains a lot but the things is ...you've got a good sharp close up since i assume you are in the bathtub and is always in the corner so,it must be a strange angle to put it in the right direction and the focus!Amazing! One of your most beautiful Congrats!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
